Finance & Fundraising: A cheque for £500 has been recieved from the Loughborough Building Society. The access barrier is to be ordered.
Notifications & Correspondence:
Awards for All monitoring forms have been completed.
Derbyshire Biodiversity News was circulated around the group.
Use Your Paths Challenge 2006. The group would reply stating that all our paths are well used.
Highways Agency were due to visit on 20/01/06 to discuss conservation work on their land.
Wetland Management: Andrew Laxton to advise on 17.03.06
Wildflower bank: To be seeded as soon as possible.
Ballast Hole Pond: The woodland path has been finished. nev is to discuss installation dates for the pond dipping platform with Fletchers. Biffa are coming to see the project on 27/02/06. A visit is to be made to Caliba on 22/02/06 to discuss the information board. The arrival of the heathers for the heathland is awaited.
Stanhope Hole: The platform wil be installed by the BTCVon 26 and 30 Jan.
Website development: The group were delighted that 40000 visits were made to the site in its first year.
Parish Walks 2006
A Walk Around Crow Park Way, 10/05/06
High Summer Hike, 30/08/06
Action Earth Projects 2006.The application has been accepted. This is worth £250.
Bridlepath Diversion: The provision of mounting blocks is to be pursued. Karen to advise onthe height of any fencing for the wildflower banks.
Bat & Bird Box Cleaning: New boxes to be installed and existing ones to be cleaned out as part of National Nestbox Week on 19/02/06 at 10 am.
Access difficulties, Muddy Lane. After investigation, it is the belief of the group that this route is nprivate property, and is not a right of way. The clerk is to write and inform Mr Russell.
