Apologies were recieved from Liz and Nev Froggatt, Sheila Wilson and Karen Kirkham.
Mary Ross welcolmed Joan Tidy to her first meeting.
Minutes: The minutes of the last meeting were agreed as eing a true record.
Finance & Fundraising: Donations of trees and wildflowers, value £200 have been greatfully recieved from villagers.
Notifications and correspondence: the BBC registration form has been completed. Cllr Ann Hood and Liz Froggatt are to visit Civic Offices to meet the new footpaths officer. Thanks to Heather for cleaning off graffiti damage. The offenders have been caught. Officials of the Youth Offending Team are to visit to see if the youngsters can be involved in our programmes. Heather and Seymour are to collect the Greenwatch Award on behalf of he group.
Projects: The planned projects on the newly leased land from the Highways Agency can go ahead, as the Parish Council have now signed the lease. A working party consisting of Liz, Seymour Frances and Andrew are to plan the area to be planted.
Whitbread Action earth Projects: Pond plants are to be ordered from Naturescape and insect boxes are to be ordered.
Arrangements for mowing: Paul to assist
Footpath Maintenance: David Adkins, SDDC is to provide the farmer with stile kits. He is also following up issues of cropping along Priory way. Cows are jumping over a stile in the Gostilles, Dave to be informed.
Evaluation of walks: Both walks were very much enjoyed.
Bridlepath diversion; the Highways Agency have declined to allow the diversion across their land.
Towpath tidy: 11 bage of litter were collected.
Wildlife database: Tree creepers have been observed along the towpath.
Festival of Leisure at Swadlincote: The Group will be in attendance.
