This meeting will be followed by a talk from Debbie Court, Biodiversity Project Officer for Derbyshire County Council. We hope this woll begin about 7.30pm.
Bridlepath: Liz walked the route with Karen to clarify issues around sewage works.(10 Feb). Awaiting date for Matlock meeting with Martyn.

Out & About: The exhibition at Sinfin Library will be on Mar 31 from 11-3pm. We need 2 people to put it up the day before, and a few people to give an hour on the day.
Stanhope Hole Board: delivery imminent.
Stanhope Hole Conservation Area Mr Cox is writing to confirm extension of our lease for a further 5 years.
Tree Council funding, £700 available for Nov 2007.
Towpath tidy: We have been invited to help with this national event on 26 Mar. More info awaited
.Bats/barn owls at Corner Farm: We have been alerted to this. Vic to contact Natural England please.
Projects update: Crow Park Way, Siting of seats. The positions for the two new seats were decided as by the bridge over Doles Brook and overlooking Stanhope Wood.
Towpath Tree planting. Action Earth has donated £50 for trees, which are to be planted in the two small triangles of land by the Nadee on the canal bank. Several suggestions were made and the decision was taken to choose rowans underplanted with guelder rose, hazel and spindle.
Stanhope Hole Pond-Siting of information board. After some discussion, the position for the new board was finalised as on the left hand side of the pond near the seat.
Cote Close-Caliba are working on the information board, which has been emailed for comment. A reminder was requested for the removal of graffiti solution to be supplied by Caliba.. Well dressing in May, Mrs Ashford requested assistance with the preparation of a full sized design for this year’s event.
Great Trees of Derbyshire Project: Several trees have been identified and the next date for surveying was chosen as Monday 26 March, meet Lower Green at 9.30am.
The date of the next meeting was Thursday April 19 2007 in the Parish Rooms, Findern. Mrs F Prockter and Cllr Mrs A Hood expressed apologies.
The meeting continued with a presentation and lecture on biodiversity by Ms D Court, Biodiversity Project Officer, Derbyshire County Council.
